The importance of peer-review

Peer-review is a very helpful thing.  Having another person look at the story you are writing and getting feedback is a good way to assess where you stand when writing a story.  It is easy to overlook flaws in your own writing, another person can see what the writer can not see and make suggestions to help improve the story.

  1. This blog could be had a little bit more improvement. You got the basic stuff about peer-review, but you didn't add the huge advantage when applying peer-review to a paper. It was simple, but in my opinion, it was too simple. There wasn't any "hey people look at my blog" feeling. It didn't feel connected to the audience, but as a brief explanation it was well written.
